New Look, New Book, New Friends

New Look

Well, this past week has been a whirlwind! The first thing I did was re-brand this site on a newer platform. The old one was out of date and I'd been trying to make it work, but sometimes you just have to spend the money and upgrade. I think I'm going to like this better. I hope, as you look around, you like it too!

Also, I'm not sure if I was able to migrate my subscribers in this move. Do me a favor, even if you've already subscribed a while ago, go ahead and subscribe again just to be sure. Thanks so much!

New Friends

I also worked with my mom (aka: From the Makerie) on an Instagram giveaway! It was so fun "virtually" meeting so many new faces: artists, yogi's, mom's, bloggers... there are so many talented people in the world! But, I should just go ahead and announce the winner already...

Ok, the 2 block printed tea towels and the hand wood burned, wooden spoon goes to: Karen Emma Hall! Congratulations. I am on my way to the post office with your package right now!

New Book

One more thing before I go. The other thing I did this week is publish a short book. It's available for kindle on Amazon. A Walk in the Wilderness came about last year during Lent. I had the opportunity to write a series of meditations about Lent for the North End Collective, where I attend church. It turned out to be such a meaningful experience, I wanted to find a way to share it with more people... so, I hope you pick it up. I hope it moves you. If it does, leave a review, or tell me about it here.

The truth is, I've never done anything like this before, and it feels like a pretty vulnerable thing to do. But, it also feels like this is exactly where I should be. I hope that makes sense.

This is Not the End,
