The view from my morning walk...Well, I've been in Boise 9 days now. I start my new job in the morning. I went to a new church this morning which was tiny but felt good... When I got home, I walked there because I still don't have a car, a neighbor had dropped off her extra car and left me the keys. I am humbled and grateful for the generosity of my new little neighborhood. Wow.
On a side note: In Idaho, people never go over the speed limit. Never. So today, I went to Trader Joes and Target in my borrowed car and realized, I have never driven 30 miles per hour - in my entire life.
Things are slower here, on purpose I think. And it's gonna take some getting used to.
