I learned something new today... actually I remembered something I thought I had successfully blocked.

High School math books make me sweat. Literally. She pulled out her Pre-Calc book which was massive and then she pulled out a sheet of graph paper and a pencil... and then she said the dreaded words, "I totally don't get this."

Yikes.

Then I rattled through all my frustrated adolescent memories: The only answer I would get right on a math test: my name. After a few cleansing breaths, I pulled her text book a little closer, said a quick prayer, and remembered the one thing I can do in this situation...

Read the directions. So, I put on a confident voice and read her the instructions again, slowly...

And then I looked in the back of the book for the answer...

Eventually, we did it.

Math is hard! Math makes me sweat!
